Building M-55 – an 8 storey, National Research Counsel building, houses two massive cooling towers and associated steel support structure on the penthouse roof. The entire roof enclosure and one wall were obliterated and two cooling towers and steel work were removed. Scope of work consisted of new roofing, installation of new steel structures and two brand new cooling towers with the enclosure remaining open to the elements, new mechanical and electrical works associated with the new cooling towers.
