Though Taplen is primarily known for building beautiful structures here in the National Capital Region and Eastern Ontario, occasionally we also get to “deconstruct” a few places as well. One of our latest endeavours was to demolish the former site of the. Rideau Correctional Centre, near Merrickville, Ontario. This vacant, decommissioned 30 building complex was demolished and restored to a drained turf layout.
